Welcome to the Baylor College of Medicine Biotech Academy at Rusk!

 It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to our vibrant and innovative school community. As the proud Principal of   BCMBAR, I   am honored to lead a campus where curiosity is nurtured, excellence is expected, and every student is   empowered to dream big   and achieve more.

 Our school is the result of a powerful partnership between the Houston Independent School District and Baylor College of   Medicine—one that provides our students with a truly unique educational experience. Here, students don’t just study science   —     they live it. With a curriculum developed by Baylor College of Medicine, our students explore neuroscience,   biotechnology, and   scientific decision-making, all while engaging with professionals from the Texas Medical Center, the   largest medical complex in the world.

Our vision is to guide every student through a rigorous and integrative health science curriculum that prepares them to make meaningful, innovative contributions in the 21st century. Through hands-on learning, cutting-edge technology, and a strong sense of community, we are preparing the next generation of scientists, doctors, engineers, and leaders.
